Mother's Embrace Ministry

We are a newly formed charitable organization that is in the process of creating a community hygiene assistance program. We want to address the hygiene needs of our fellow members of the community. This organization was created by members of the community who have had to utilize resources within this same community. There are programs and resources that focus on food or utility bills, but none that strictly focus on hygiene needs. We want to be a bridge to fill that gap of a much-needed resource to add to our wonderful community of Stillwater.

We want to address the hygiene needs of vulnerable populations, empowering individuals with knowledge and resources, and creating a healthier and more inclusive community. Through collaboration, advocacy, and education, we strive to prevent the spread of diseases, enhance personal hygiene practices, and improve the quality of life for all.

Provision of Hygiene Products

We want to supply free hygiene products, including soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary pads, diapers, and other essential items, to needy individuals and families. Your donation will help us maintain a steady supply of these vital resources.

Hygiene Education  Awareness

We want to conduct educational workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns to promote good hygiene practices, including handwashing, oral hygiene, menstrual hygiene, and other relevant topics. Your contribution will help us develop and deliver impactful educational materials and programs.

Collaboration with Community Partners

We want to work closely with local shelters, community centers, schools, and healthcare facilities to reach a broader audience and maximize the impact of our Hygiene Assistance Program. With your support, we can strengthen and expand these collaborative efforts.

According to a 2017 public community health assessment done by Payne County, within our community, a significant number of vulnerable individuals, especially mothers, and families, face challenges in accessing essential hygiene resources and education. Financial constraints and limited access to support systems result in inadequate access to hygiene products and knowledge, leading to potential health risks and diminished self-esteem. The lack of proper hygiene practices contributes to increased vulnerability to infections and diseases, ultimately affecting the overall well-being and quality of life for those in need. This critical issue demands urgent attention to ensure that every individual has access to essential hygiene resources, education, and support to maintain their health, dignity, and sense of belonging within the community.
